  • 1 1/5 tablespoon Chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Salt
  • 3/4 cup Canola Oil
  • 1 pound Ground Beef

  1. Place meat in a medium saucepan and add a little water to make the meat mushy. Stir in the chili powder and garlic salt. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils. Decrease heat and simmer until meat is completely cooked. Add water if necessary to keep meat a little mushy to serve. Add salt to taste if desired. Heat tortillas as desired, either frying them in canola oil for a hard shell or heat for a few seconds on each side in a dry skillet for a soft shell. Serve along with toppings such as shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes and salsa.
