Homemade French Fry wedges

Recipe Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil, can substitute butter
  • 4 medium Potatoes

Instructions

  1. Preheat over to 400. Slice 4 medium potatoes in half, long ways, then cut each half into 3-4 long wedges. Place on a cookie sheet. Spray a little olive oil on cookie sheet then place potato slices (skin side down if possible). Bake 30 minutes then check. This may take up to an hour depending on how large your slices are. During the cooking process spray a little olive oil on them if desired. Turn the broiler on for the last couple of minutes if you would like crispier fries. Salt to taste Hint: I sometimes microwave my potatoes for 3-7 minutes to cook half way through before cutting (be careful they will be hot when slicing). I also wrinkle aluminum foil and place on the cookie sheet if it is not a non stick pan, to keep the potatoes from sticking.
