Chinese Pork Chops

Recipe Ingredients

  • 4 large Boneless Pork Chops
  • 1 tsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 6 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Wine
  • 1/4 teaspoon Five Spice Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Tenderize meat with a mallet until 1/4 inch thick. 2. Mix together all other ingredients except cornstarch and oil. Pour over pork and allow to marinate at least 10 minutes. 3. Just before frying pour cornstarch over chops and stir into marinade. 4. Heat enough oil in a large skillet to cover bottom. Place pork in skillet when oil begins to simmer. Cook pork chops over medium high heat until cooked through.
