Bowtie Pasta with Apples and Ground Beef

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 pound Lean Ground Beef
  • 3 large Apples, Chopped
  • 3 large Garlic Cloves, Minced
  • 2 cans Diced Tomatoes, (28 ounce) cans undrained
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin
  • 2 teaspoon Cloves, Ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 dash Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 12 oz Bowtie Pasta
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon


  1. 1. Cook pasta according to package directions. While pasta is cooking brown beef in frying pan with onions and garlic. 2. When pasta is done, rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. 3. Drain fat from ground beef. Add tomatoes into pan, along with apples and spices. 4. Allow to simmer for about 20 minutes or until everything becomes saucy and apple pieces are tender. 5. Serve over pasta.
